✳️ Air Création at the 5th UIMM Drôme-Ardèche Industrial Meeting: Electric Flight Takes Off

Posted on Thursday, July 10, 2025

On July 10, Air Création took part in the 5th Industrial Meeting hosted by the UIMM Drôme-Ardèche, in partnership with Bpifrance, MEDEF Drôme-Ardèche, CPME Ardèche, CPME Drôme, and Somudimec.

Held at InSitu, the event brought together over 80 industrial players to explore a crucial theme:
🌍 Ecological transition: growth vs. degrowth?

✈️ e-Pixel: the first electric ULM approved for series production

Representing Air Création, Philibert Le Bihan spoke during the panel discussion to share our current efforts to decarbonize light aviation.

At the heart of our presentation was the e-Pixel, the first electric ultralight aircraft officially approved for series production in France. This fully electric single-seater offers:

The e-Pixel is a breakthrough in the microlight sector — a clean and silent aircraft that retains all the freedom and sensation of open-air flying, while answering today’s environmental challenges.

🔧 e-Bi: developing the future of electric two-seaters

Also introduced during the event, the e-Bi project is currently under development. It aims to bring electric propulsion to a lightweight two-seater trike platform.
Designed for training, discovery flights and shared experiences, it will complement the e-Pixel and extend our electric range.

🤝 A shared drive for industrial transition

Alongside fellow speakers from Frappa and SFS France, Air Création contributed to a series of inspiring and practical discussions on industrial approaches to ecological transformation — from energy optimization to sustainable design.

We warmly thank:

🚀 A clear heading: flying differently, flying sustainably

At Air Création, we believe recreational aviation can — and must — evolve toward cleaner solutions.
With the e-Pixel, electric flight is no longer a concept — it’s a reality already in the sky. And we’re just getting started.

👉 Stay tuned to follow the development of the e-Bi, and join us on this exciting journey into the future of ultralight aviation.
